Travel to Japan. With the time change, you'll arrive tomorrow, Japan time.
Arrive at Narita airport in Tokyo, Japan. The cherry blossoms - sakura, will be in bloom! We'll go to the hotel, have a group dinner, and rest up for a busy tour!
We'll have a blast in Tokyo today. First, we'll visit TeamLab Borderless, a digital art museum, then we'll go to the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park which has much more!
Today we'll go to see the Mori Art Museum and the National Art Center in the Tokyo area of Roppongi.
In Tokyo, we'll go to the Hokusai Museum, then to MOMAT, Museum of Modern Art in Chiyoda Park. Travel to Utsunomiya tonight.
We'll take a day trip to Nikko today and walk around the most extraordinary temples and shrines that are unbelievable! Nature too!
Day-trip to Mashiko today, where we'll do a super fun indigo dyeing workshop. Afterwards, we'll tour Mashiko and learn about Shoji Hamada, a famous potter.
We'll take a bullet train to Kyoto, which is an amazing city with gorgeous temples and so much to see! Today, we'll go to the Nishiki Market and do a fun woodblock workshop!
We'll take a day trip to Shigaraki pottery town and visit pottery studios, meet potters, and visit the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, which has state of the art facilities.
Today we'll go to the beautiful Kiyomizu-dera temple, the Golden Pavilion, and the Ryoan-ji temple Then we'll do a fun hands-on Ikebana workshop at the Kyoto Handicraft Center.
Today we'll take a train to Nara, visit the Todai-ji temple and see this huge Buddha, and many other gorgeous, historic places. We'll have lunch at the Higashimuki Shopping Street .
Travel back home. With the time change, you'll arrive in the US before you left Japan on the same day! You'll have so many great memories of Japan! Arigato Gozaimashta!

Upon registration, you'll receive a lot of information about the tour and a detailed itinerary, as well as what to pack and expect in Japan. You'll also receive information about Japan iin general.
We understand that travel can be unpredictable. That's why purchasing travel insurance coverage is highly recommended to ensure that you're protected in any situation.
The tour is $4,192. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to register. The balance is due on January 10th, 2026.
Upon registration, you'll receive a lot of information about the tour and Japan in general. You'll receive a detailed day-to-day itinerary with explanations about what we'll see and do. The info will include packing suggestions, tips on Japanese culture, and everything you'll need to know to make your tour comfortable and educational.
In the information you'll receive, there will be info about packing and info on Japan, such as the electrical outlets are like ours but only two-pronged. Bring cash or an ATM card to get Japanese Yen for meals that aren't included and stuff you'll want to buy. Check the weather for Tokyo, Utsunomiya, and Kyoto before leaving. Some areas may be cooler in the mountains. It may also rain, so bring raingear.
It's cherry blossom season in Japan in April, and you can see the blooms all over Japan, which are gorgeous and festive! You'll often see people enjoying picnics under the pink blossoms.
Japanese food is diverse and delicious! You can eat very cheaply at local ramen or sushi restaurants. Even the food in convenience stores is delicious and they are located everywhere!
There are temples and shrines all over Japan. Their art is beautiful and historic. The people are super kind and respectful. It's a very safe country! You'll have so many remarkable memories!
